Thanks very much medulla oblongata!

Why is it that when we see another person doing well our first response is to wish them harm? Are we all so full of feelings of inadequacy that we can’t be happy for other peoples successes?

There is, as we know, a fine line line between arrogance and confidence, but that doesn’t mean we should look upon these emotions as a negative thing. People who are confident in themselves would be able to view the success of others with joy and maybe even strive that little bit harder to try and achieve such success in their own lives.

As long as we define our own worth by that of the people all around us we are forever doomed to live in a world of negative envy.
